Over the course of her distinguished career, Michele has offered clients advice, mediated cases, and tried them.  Michele has accepted principal trial responsibility and defended clients in a full spectrum of litigation matters before judges and juries in state court, judges in federal court, before Louisiana’s Public Service Commission, Workforce Commission, and Division of Administration, the US District Courts’ Panel for Multi-District Litigation (MDL) and the appellate courts in the state and federal court.  These cases have included a wide variety of individual, non-business-related matters, commercial and casualty litigation defense, commercial transportation, contract disputes, succession disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, insurance coverage disputes, traditional insurance matters, construction defect, premises liability, personal injury, workers’ compensation, property/cargo loss/damage claims, products liability/redhibition, and asbestos/chemical exposure.  She also has experience with wills and estates, the Airline Deregulation Act of 1978 and the Warsaw and Montreal Conventions, Federal Aviation Administration Land Use and Zoning Regulation Issues and Regulatory Compliance Issues regulations, and regulatory compliance issues (including HIPAA, Medicare and ERISA).
