Bethany was born on July 27, 1993, to Henry “Coon” and Lana Breaux in Sulphur, Louisiana. She grew up in Orange, Texas and graduated from Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School in Beaumont, Texas.
In May 2015, Bethany graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. While at LSU, she served as an undergraduate Research Assistant to Dr. Sean M. Lane, PhD, in the Office of Applied Cognition and was an active member of Phi Mu Alpha Eta chapter.
In May 2018, Bethany obtained her Juris Doctor from Loyola University College of Law. While at Loyola, she served as a judicial extern at the Louisiana Supreme Court to Justice James T. Genovese and a Teaching Assistant in Legal Research and Writing. Bethany received the asterisk in her Legal Research and Writing and Real Estate Transactions courses. She was also awarded the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center Social Justice and Public Service Award and the St. Thomas More Public Service Award in recognition of her outstanding dedication to public service.
